Marimekko Summer 2016 Preview Event

Happy to attend the Marimekko Summer 2016 Preview, which is also their signature print Kivet 60th Anniversary.  Marimekko, a Finnish brand famous for its original prints and colours.  Your spirit is naturally uplifted once you stepped into their shop in Leighton Road.  All the patterns come together but you never find them messy.  Rather, all the colours and patterns echo together and create an interesting mix and harmony.

What I Wore

It is a floor-length maxi dress in a loose cut.  I like the dramatic black and white mono print.  It is so comfortable yet can create a sharp and outstanding character.  See how I crashed into the other marimekko prints.  Well, I just love this kind of print crush. ?
